Irina Shishkova graduated from the St.Petersburg Conservatory (class of G.Khanedanyan).
She is a laureate of several competitions including the Elena Obraztsova («Best Debut», 2007) and Rimsky-Korsakov (2009) and the Competizione dell’Opera
in Dresden (2010). As a 2nd year student, she made her debut on the stage of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet in the role of Carmen.
Since 2010, she has been a soloist of the Academy of Young Singers of the Mariinsky Theatre, where she has sang the roles in operas by Tchaikovsky (the party of Olga in the opera «Eugene Onegin»), Richard Strauss, Prokofi ev, Mozart and Gounod.
In 2011, gave her fi rst performance at the Latvian National Opera (as Olga), and at the festival «Crescendo», as well as at the Kennedy Center with the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra and D.Liss. In October 2013, she participated in a European concert tour with the Academy (Italy, UK, Switzerland, Germany and France).
